My big girl

Sagie turned 2 today.  She's getting to be such a grown up little girl.  All I hear all day is "I do it!"  She won't let me get her dressed, put on her shoes, do her buckles, open her juice boxes or string cheese.  She's just too grown up to have people doing things for her.  Which is so funny to me, because I don't think I ever heard Jaxon say that once.  He was more than happy to be taken care of.  I think in the long run, I'll be more appreciative of it, but for now it makes things a little tricky.  Especially when she wants to change her own dirty diapers!  Sage loves her brother, and always refers to him as brother, not Jaxon.  She loves her morning walks, especially when she can bring her baby doll and stroller along.  She loves Life cereal and oatmeal.  She likes to help me clean up, and always pulls out her toy vacuum when I am vacuuming.  She's got a fiery personality, and rather than being calm and rational in situations, she tends to scream.  She's a fantastic screamer.  But she's also so kind and loving.  She knows just when I need a big hug, and always greets her daddy at the door with a huge smile.  She's passionate and fun and she is my little princess, and I love her to the moon and back!  Happy Birthday my big girl.

I love you!

Just wanted you to know we were thinking of you yesterday even though we did not call. Happy Birthday, Sage! I am glad the day turned out so well. Love the cake and all the pictures. Sage is such a knock-out. Is that a new dress-up dress? Julia LOVES dress up (just like Mia still does). Rick has such talent. I remember he caught a nap at the Childrens' Museum when we visited.

Happy Birthday....She is such a cutie. I love the cake. Have fun with a 2 year old girl, if you haven't figured it out by now they are very different from 2 year old boys. HAVE FUN!!!!!

Fabulous pictures. You captured the evening perfectly. Except, of course, for the constant screaming in the background provided for by Holly. Which helps you appreciate Rick's talent even better. And those last two pictures are priceless. Another perfect party.

Michael is very independent too. It drives me nuts most of the time but hopefully he'll learn to do things quickly. Your party looked fun and Sage looks really cute. She has a lot more hair then she used too.

I love that sweet little Sagie. You captured the moments perfectly. I think I'll go buy myself some pink minnie boots, a princess dress, and a doll house and just lay on my floor and play (all while watching some gg). Sounds magical.
