I told my sister the other day, "there are only a handful of people in the world who will drop everything in their life to go to Africa to teach school for a year. They need you!"
In September she will be leaving everything in her life to do just that. But she needs your help! Tomorrow night, Friday the 3rd, there will be a Benefit Concert to help raise money for her to buy curriculum, pay teachers, and basically give these orphaned children an education. The tickets are $10 a person, and all of it goes to help these sweet brothers and sisters of ours. PLEASE, if you live in the Portland area, come to this concert and learn how you are helping these children. Bring your family and neighbors and strangers, and enjoy a night of great music and do your part to help change the world.
