The last beautiful cake I made was for Sam's first birthday...almost 9 years ago. Noah's ark, with individually decorated sugar cookie animals. Since then, they're lucky if they get a box of donuts.
I have a picture of me on my third birthday with a barbie doll cake that my mom made (you know, the kind where the cake is her gown). I love that picture and can't believe my mom was so talented. Take lots of pictures - Sage will be so proud!
You know you're out of control when your daughters first birthday cake is tiered. Are you looking forward to her wedding or something? It's looks awesome.
