Happy Birthday Holly!

Today is a post of pictures. It is my little sweet niece Holly's birthday today and I couldn't be more excited. I am currently smelling a delicious cake cooking in the oven for her to devour, and wanted to do a quick post to honor Holly!

When Heidi said she was thinking about getting pregnant again, I knew I had to jump on the wagon and beat her to the punch...which I did by just 3 months! Both Emily and Jaxon, and Holly and Sage are 3 months apart, and it is so fun having cousins so close in age. I doubt she'll post a prego belly picture on her blog, so I thought I should. Here is the star of the show. She came perfectly, as do most of Heidi's kids, and has been been nearly perfect her whole first year of life. (sleeping through the night started 3 days after she was born, while my little "angel" decided that 2-6am was the perfect time to stay awake and cry.
Heidi wasn't allowed to tell me how Holly did at night, because it was ruining our relationship. : )
I know this is a random picture, but I made it for Connor's birthday which was just a few days after Holly was born. I think it's pretty awesome.
We loved taking pictures of these two together. As you will see
For some reason all of these photo shoots took place on Heidi's couch. Isn't this one sweet? They were so clueless as to the others existence, but that didn't stop us from forcing friendship upon them.
When I saw these dresses (on SALE) I just had to buy them.
Heidi bought these ones. It's fun to pretend to have twins, but only have to take care of one child. I feel like it was around this time that their little relationship started to develop. They were excited when they saw each other, if only for a few seconds.

This picture is from Halloween, and I just think it is priceless. Holly looks adorable!

Eventually Sage started to bully Holly, stealing anything that she was holding. Whether it be a toy, binkie, bottle, cracker, didn't matter much to Sage. It is still going on today, and Holly is really quite patient with the whole thing.Another cute picture. During Christmas break Heidi had parties with friends for all of her kids. All but Holly that is, so I invited her over to my place for her very own party. Looks like fun huh? Here they are hanging out in their strollers at the Zoo. Who knew that two cousins could have so many picture together in their first year of life! This was taken just recently. Sage loves to crawl around on the floor whenever Holly comes over. She thinks it's pretty funny. And this is from TODAY! Yeah for birthdays! I love this little girl so much, and love that I get to be so much a part of her life. HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY HOLLY! WE LOVE YOU!!kiss kiss

Oh my goodness. They are both so cute. What a fun tribute. My poor children will never have anyone close to their ages so HOlly and Sage are lucky.

How lucky Holly is to have a cousin just her size. And how lucky I am to have a sister who will blog about my daughters birthday before I do, make her birthday cake (one of the bests), buy her cute clothes and presents, and (come one-let's be honest) be more excited about her birthday then her own mom!! Thanks for helping me remember the magic of birthdays. You made the day perfect.

I forgot to add that I am NOT ok with you adding a picture of me as massive as I was. No one should have to see that!

The girls are so cute together! I love Holly's round little face, she is for sure an adorable little girl. My kids don't have cousins near by either, and I didn't grow up with my cousins either, so that is truly wonderful for them to be together so much.

I'm so excited for those two girls. Your family should be your best friends anyway, don't you think? (By the way you better think of me as family!) It makes me even more excited to have another little girl because even though they aren't the same age I can just imagine them being the best of friends growing up. (Until the teens set in!) And I already plan on making them dress the same!

Really cute, especially the kiss. 1st birthdays only come once and are such a milestone. Holly and Sage are just little people now. The world sure is changing.

Seriously Stephanie, could we forget you!?! The truth is I have been secretly checking out your blog for a few weeks after I found you on Laura and Stuart's but I wasn't sure you would remember us. We are loving being in Bozeman. We recently started a construction company and are looking forward to starting on our own house in the next few weeks (hopefully). You should totally move here. There are several dentists just in our ward so you would fit in great. And tell Jake the fishing is.....Amazing! So fun to see what you guys are up to.

Cute is the only word to describe those pictures. They are so adorable in the matching dresses, and I love how the pictures you posted tells the story of their budding relationship! :-)
