And much needed! We began the evening taking a short hike up Larch mountain where we saw 5 different mountain peaks. It was incredible. This is Mt. Hood.

This is where we had dinner, (thanks Rick and Heidi for the girt certificate). The View Point Inn. It's an amazing little resort with a fantastic restaurant that overlooks the gorge. You see that open door right in the middle? That was our table. : )
We showed up in time to watch the sunset. I don't know if there is anything more relaxing then waiting for delicious food to be served, watching a sunset in the company of the man you love, and having no children around. It was bliss.

This is where they filmed the prom scene in the movie Twilight! I felt just like Bella and Edward. : )
And here's a random picture of us with our server. He just decided to take it, and who am I to say no? It was a fabulous night, I would suggest it to anyone who needs a romantic escape.

I'm so jealous right now. Tyler is still to young ( for me) to leave over night. Sounds wonderful.
Soooo jealous. I am sooo needing a vacation because in this stage of life...the baby turns one and its on to the next one.

I'll have to put this on make list of places to go in Oregon. Those views are AMAZING!! I could use a little getaway myself right now!

Did you dye your hair red? Not that it's all I noticed. The place is totally gorgeous! I've been bugging Spencer about needing a vacation but I guess I'll have to have a baby instead. I suppose it will be quite some time now until I do. ße sure to live it up this summer with Jake around!
So you're a Twilighter too. We're a pathetic lot aren't we. So...did you decide to sprinkle Jake with glitter and make him stand in the Sunlight? Glad you had a good time. I could use one of those getaways myself.

OK! So I really need all the details of that place. I will be in the "other" Heather's boat as well. I could see myself honeymooning there someday! Now I just need to get me married!
