What is she thinking?

dad 217 Here I am at the computer. This picture was taken without my knowledge, and it proves a point that I've long known was true, but haven't had any evidence. I was not mad at this moment, or sad, or upset, or feeling low, or depressed, or feeling any negative feelings at all. I was probably enjoying someone's blog and was actually quite content! This, my friends, is my resting face. Nothing more, nothing less. So if you ever see my starting off in a crowded place, don't think of me as a mean spirit, I'm not! It's gotten me into some problems in the past, so I just wanted to clear it up here! So don't be afraid to approach. Underneath that scowl, I can be a pretty nice person, I promise! : )

Steph that is so funny!! I have that same problem. There are many days that Matt comes home from work and says to me, "What's the matter with you?" I always have to explain nothing. He always says that if I am not smiling that I look mad. It's good to know that I am not alone. Thanks!! :o)

I've never thought that!

I do the same thing with my face! I catch myself in a reflection walking past a window or see a candid photo of myself and wonder why I am so angry.

i don't hitnk you are alone! all growing up through high school, i think the people who didn't know me well enough thought i was a snob because if i wasn't smiling i looked conceited! isn't that great. it's only the people that take the time to get to know me that realize that i am a really nice person, actually!

I have a similar problem. I have never thought you looked angry or mean. You always have such a huge smile on your face that says "Approach me. I will be your friend." You are awesome!

Sage is looking more like Jaxon! They are so cute.

You don't look negative at all...just deep in thought, which is a good place to be now and then!

Ok, I have a quick cake question for you....When you use fondant do you peel it off before eating or does yours taste good enough to eat? I am so confused about whether or not it is going to be good. I should have looked into this sooner since Annabelle's birthday is Friday!

Your resting face is gorgeous! Mine is scary. My kids often assume I'm mad, and they should know me better!

My mom, too, got pulled aside by a stranger and asked if she wanted to talk about her obvious stress and sorrow. My mom felt sorry for the person and made something up.

Love it. Glad you got that out in the open-might save you from some sticky situations!

Phew!! I've been so afraid to approach you because I thought you've hated me for so many years. You mean to say we can actually be friends? That's weird! Guess that means I should probably stop scowling at your resting face. Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding.
