Moving

Have you ever noticed how all you do when you clean is move things around?  Clothes for instance.  They go from your drawer to your body to the floor, to the laundry basket, to the washer, to the dryer, to the floor, to the drawer and repeat.  Or dishes.  From the cupboard to the table, from the table to the sink, from the sink to the dishwasher, and then back to the cupboard.  Toys....you move them one place, your kids move them right back.  Dirt comes in through the door, then you sweep it back out, only for it to come right back in.  It's EXHAUSTING!!  I've been working all night, and my house finally feels clean.  Now everyone just

STOP MOVING!

I hate that too, I feel like there is not point cleaning with kids in the house. I do it, but I'm not happy about it.

I feel that way too. I always feel like whenever I try to organize I realize what a mess it makes and give up. Lets just resign our selves to living in "semi mess' all the time until our kids are in school. then just think....the house will be clean and QUIET for at least 5 hours a day!! And we're gonna miss the mess...you know it.

I feel exactly the same way. I can get a bit daunting. But speaking of circulation clothes...I have a big bag anxiously awaiting you to be the new owner. : )

I agree! And I feel like because we are in such a small space for our fam, I am constantly rearranging, reorganizing, recleaning everything twice as much as what should be normally done. My advice, breath deeply and know you did your best.

Don't do it. It's overrated.

I know. We just got back from vacation, and I am shuddering at the cleaning tasks that lie ahead of me. Althought it's not as bad as it could be. :-)

The cake is so cute!

It is exhausting and hard to get ahead. I can't seem to keep up this summer.

You put it so well. I get super tired of just moving "stuff" around from one place to another. And it all just feels like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
