Happy Easter!

I had no idea she could be so cute!!!

My favorite part about Easter this year was being able to share with Jaxon the real reason that we celebrate. As we talked about Jesus and his death and Resurrection, he made many references to his favorite superheros (Batman, Superman, Green Lantern) and now Jesus is one of those superheros. What a fresh new way to think of Christ! He has power over death, he saved us all, he is perfect and as Jaxon is always pointing out, he wears a cape. : ) There is such a beautiful simplicity to the Easter story when seen through childs eyes. I am so grateful to be able to learn the gospel all over again with my sweet children.

Happy Easter everyone!

I'm so happy that sage has a ponytail! It's so sweet that Jaxon thinks so purely. He just takes the story and makes it something he understands, and it totally works! My sister and her family wrote a letter to the Easter Bunny asking if he could come to their house on Saturday so that on Sunday they could focus on the Resurrection. I thought that was an interesting idea.

Sage is so cute, and I love her dress! It's just so girly. You guys have such a beautiful family. It is fun to listen to kids learn about the gospel.

I;ll send you the picture I took in argentina of a van that had "jesus is my hero" on the back. The S in Jesus was the superman S. I thought it was pretty funny.

I love love love the thought of Jesus as a superhero. How perfect is that for a child to relate to? Your children are so cute.
