Look at me! I'm in a recording studio. It really isn't a good thing that I'm so into American Idol right now, because I for sure thought I was Carrie Underwood the whole time. You know how I am about wanting to be famous! : ) I have to say though, it was an awesome experience. You stand in this little soundproof room, all by your lonesome, while you listen to yourself singing in headphones. And you know what? It really didn't sound half bad! I was recording for the musical I'm a part of, With Mine Own Hand, and the CD will be sold at the BYU bookstore. So if you're ever at BYU after August, head on over to the bookstore and buy my album! Okay, so it's not MY album, but I am on it. I felt a little silly asking for someone to take my picture in the booth, but the desire to blog outweighed the desire to be cool, so here they are!

How fun Stephanie! I'm jealous! If I was anywhere near a BYU bookstore I would totally buy it because I absolutely LOVE your voice! I remember that the first time I heard your voice I honestly thought it was the prettiest one i had every heard! It's the truth! I would vote for you on American Idol in a second!
I always love looking at your blog! You always have such great things to share and I'm awful because I never comment! You are always so great at that! So anyway, I thought that I would just say hi to you guys real quick! Love ya!

This is so great. I can't wait to get "your album" And I will tell everyone about my famous friend.
Good for you for asking someone to take your picture! Looks like fun. You should be way proud of yourself!
Hey Steph that's fantastic! However, I bet it was a little BETTER than not half bad! I miss hearing you sing. ~erika~
Cool dude! I'm just still thrilled you'll be here when my baby is born. I'm thinking if you could find someone who can write good Christian music you probably could have your own album to sell and Desert Book and such. I know a handful of people that have CDs out, and though I am bias, you have more real talent. Most of these people just fake it and knew the right people.
I am jealous. Secretly I have always wanted to do some of the stuff you have done. I have always liked to sing and have a flare for the dramatic. That's great that you are actually acting on it. Of course, I could never really compete with talent like you for roles, but maybe I could be part of some small production someday. :) Congrats!
how fun is that! Good for you!
isn't it funny how blogging changes us?!
Check you out. You really could be the next American Idol.
I've got some questions for you about being a Dental School Widow. Do you use MSN at all?
That is so exciting! Congratulations on recording the album. If I have a chance to get a copy, I totally will!
That is so fun! You look great.
That is so fun! I love that you got someone to take a picture of you! Not everyone gets that experience...you need a picture of it :) I would totally get someone to take my picture, not that I would ever be in a recording studio...but that's not the point! Way cool...I so much want to hear the album!
that is very cool!
Who cares about your voice. You look like a freakin' babe in that booth! That's all that matters.
I will buy your album...and send one to my parents too! I always knew you'd be famous. Its the beauty mark!
Maybe you can put a link to where we can buy the cd online. You look great in the studio--a natural. What a fun experience! Can't wait to hear the final product.
What a fun dream to fulfill. Let's hope it turns into an even bigger dream come true!
Looks like so much fun! I look forward to hearing it. You should keep me updated because I'd love to come and see you preform in Utah. We should do a game night American Idol style.
