Goin' to the Lodge~

Last weekend we headed up to Grand Mound Washington to play our little hearts out at the Great Wolf Lodge. There was crazy amounts of fun to be had, as you will see.
Here's our hotel room, or our "new house" as Jaxon referred to it. Jake was recovering from finals week, and was a trooper to keep up with his kiddos.
Here's Sagie getting into things in the room. It was nice that I didn't have to clean up after her for once.
Here's the good stuff. Jaxon spent a lot of time on these little wave runners. You can shoot water at the people on the other one's and Jaxon liked to aim for the face. No mercy!

This was in the arcade. There was a batman blow-up toy that we wanted to get Jaxon but it was 300 tickets, and we had 13! So as we went to cash in our tickets for candy, a girl next to us had 2000 points, and overheard us talking about the batman and got it for us. Jaxon was thrilled. I should post a picture of it. It's almost as big as Jax.

He we are as we were leaving the waterpark. You'll notice Sagie didn't even make it out the door!
I love, love, love this picture. I want to photoshop it to bring out the colors of the ribbon more. I've tried and failed a couple of time. Any advice?
And this is how the day ended....
Well, more like this.
THANKS FOR THE FUN AUNT HEIDI!

That place looks like so much fun! I keep hearing about it from different people lately. I think this will be a good winter weekend destination for us when its cold and depressing here.

I love the picture of the sleeping kids in the car. That is the sign of a truly fun vacations- kids are knocked out.

wow! it sounds like everyone has been making that trip to the lodge! we really missed out on that one!

which photoshop do you have? i have cs3 and there is an "action" that i have that can be applied to the photo and it is called "boost" and it just saturates the colors. it's amazing! e-mail me (mahinamason@comcast.net) a copy of the picture and i will do it for you! the boost is my best friend when it comes to pictures because i love bright, vivid colors!

So much fun to read about the weekend away. I LOVED seeing all the pictures. Keep the blogs coming. I love to read them. Miss you and your kids. Do I say that on every blog? I have got to get more creative.

It looks like you all had such a great time!! I am glad to see little ones have fun too since I heard so many people go and have fun with their older children. I love your pictures of sleepy children in the car. That always makes the drive more fun when they are sleeping.

That looks like so much fun. I think we are going to head up there next spring, so it's good to know other people have gone and enjoyed it.

Yeah for a fun getaway!

So glad you were there. I love Jaxon calling it your new house. While camping this week, my niece kept referring to their tent as her "camping house."
